Columbus photographer Mark Toro, will display his rock concert photography. Mark's photography covers two great rock eras, the 70's (1975-1978) and the 90's (1991-1999). Mark began to study photography in high school during the classic rock era, taking photographs of Queen, The Who, Rod Stewart and Genesis. After becoming a professional photographer years later, he photographed concerts for publications during a second rock era from 1991-1999, of such greats such as: U2, R.E.M., Peter Gabriel, Morrissey, Pretenders, Pat Benatar, Lenny Kravitz, Natalie Merchant and The Rolling Stones.The photographs will not be for sale, but will be included in his upcoming retrospective photography book that will be for sale, and cover over forty years. Mark will be on hand to discuss his photography and the stories behind the photos.

Jennifer Murray was born and raised in Westerville. Growing up loving art, Jennifer studies under David Myers in his Studio and Gallery in Uptown Westerville for 7 years before receiving a BFA in Painting from the Rhoad Island School of Design. Upon graduation, Jennifer returned to Columbus to continue studio practice. She has been in various shows around the midwest including Grand Rapids, MI and Richmond, IN. Along with her personal studio practice, she works as a freelance artists for murals and fabricators around Columbus and teaches art classes at the Bryn Du Mansion in Granville, OH.
KATHLEEN "KATHY" NORRIS
Kathy Norris is currently the principal of St. Paul School in Westerville. She received her PHD in education with a specialization in Instructional Design and Online learning from Capella University. Over the last 30 plus years she has been actively immersed in the teaching and learning process as a student, teacher, PD coordinator and administrator. Kathy has a passion for the arts in all forms and most recently has been exploring acrylic painting at the David Myers Art Studio and Gallery in Uptown. Her work is abstract expressionism influenced by the many emotions and experiences that color her world. She hopes her artwork inspires people of all ages to rediscover their inner artist. Kathy and her husband Gary moved to Westerville from Seneca Lake, Ohio eleven years ago. They have a son Matthew who also loves in Westerville with his wife Penny and daughter Emilia.
Lena Halverson has been a studio artist with David Myers at his Studio and Gallery since 2010. Lena's works are a multitude of subjects using various 2D media including acrylic on canvas. Lena is also involved in theater, both as an actor and crew. She has a compassion for people and passion for travel. A junior at Oakstone Academy, Lena reside with her family in Westerville.
Raised in Worthington Ohio, Katherine graduated from the Worthington Alternative High School. Through the Alternative Program, she explored art as an open dialog and a way to encourage others when she met Don Jones, Art Therapist with Harding Hospital and in classes at Ohio State University. A graduate of Ohio University with Bachelors in Fine Arts, Katherine studied Graphic Design and Animation, and received the Charles Logan Smith Award of Excellence in Design awarded to the top student portfolio in the design major. For 35+ years, Katherine has worked as a graphic and interior space designer and in the area of new business development for Ad Agencies and Industrial/Product Design firms. The introduction to “aging well” came as a result of assisting her loved one who had Alzheimer’s. Katherine re-discovered her love for art as a means to communicate, serve and provide a sense of purpose to others. Katherine currently serves as the Director of Life Enrichment at Parkside Village Senior Living Community where a very special resident introduced her to David Myers. David has been conducting classes at this community for six years. Inspired by David and Joye, Katherine began to paint again in winter of 2013 and continues to express her interest in all things nature and the mysteries of rural life. Along with her husband Benton of 29 years, she has lived in Westerville for 18 years. They have a son Beni, daughter Gabi and son-in-law Henry who tease that they have been replaced with the family’s 3 standard poodles, Kobe, Lincoln and Rafa.

MAH LEAH COHCRAN
With a passion for expressing life through art, Mah Leah's works feature themes involving nature and the human condition. Her art is characterized by its broad diversity of subject, symbolism, color, texture and form. A native of Columbus, Mah Leah holds degrees in Economics and Political Science with a minor in International Affairs from Hofstra University in New York. She has devoted much of her energy to helping others both in her career and in her humanitarian work around the world. Her work with children in South Africa, aid work in the aftermath of the 2013 Oklahoma tornadoes and aid efforts in the wake of total devastation of the 2010 Earthquake in Haiti have made a lasting impact on her world view and exposed her to realities that influence her art, life and pursuits to this day.
Dave Henry was born and raised in Columbus and now resides in Westerville with his wife of 39 years (Dorothy) and his twin daughters, Jennifer and Alise. He has been involved with art in some form or another as long as he can remember. He studied pottery at the Columbus College of Art and Design in 1976. When he sits down at the wheel to make pottery he has no preconceived idea of what he will make. The heart and hands do the thinking. He is just along for the ride.
John Cameron has a lifelong interest in painting, and as an adult, specifically in transparent watercolor painting. He has studied with nationally recognized water-colorists, including Tony Couch, James, Toogood, Suzanne Acetta, Fran Mangino, Chris Leeper, Bill Vrsack, Frank Webb, Charles Rowland and Keving Buckland. John has had leadership positions in the Westerville Art League, Ohio Watercolor Society and Arts Council of Westeriville. He teaches watercolor classes and has his work displayed and for purchase at several venues around town, including, Franklin Park Conservatory, Westerville Public Library, Inniswood Metro Gardens, Java Central Coffee House and Gallery, and Ohio Art Market.
Lynn McCarty's pastel and acrylic paintings are inspired by nature and color. She has taken art classes and workshops from well-known local and nationally known instructors and exhibits her work in area shows. She also designs and makes jewelry that she sells locally

Laura Darcy is a Westerville artist who started painting several years ago. She pursues her passion for watercolors by focusing on floral and landscapes. The unique identity in her work is reflected by the wonderful intensity and vibrancy found in the colors of nature. Laura is part of the Columbus Arts Community through various associations such as The Cultural Arts Center, The McConnell Arts Center, and the Urban Sketchers Columbus Arts Community. She has created a number of watercolors for friends and family and is excited for this opportunity to paint and present some of her paintings to the public.
Sara Castro is the artist of Fox and Beans art, based out of the Uptown Westerville area. She loves creating cute and whimsical illustrations that make hearts happy. She primarily works digitally, but when she isn't drawing on her iPad, she enjoys using a combination of gouache and watercolor paints. Westerville native and South grad, Cindy Ceroky (White) is a mixed media artist who finds solace creating something from nothing. She often infuses found objects, ephemera, and vintage materials into her art. This allows her to create layers rich in texture and history, in attempts to capture a nostalgic feel to lost moments in time.
Don Wilkins has worked with various mediums and now works primarily in acrylic. Currently he is pursuing a reverse painting on glass technique. This combines several mediums to produce acrylic paintings of nature on glass which are framed against a contrasting industrial metallic background. He is vice president of the Westerville Art league and regularly shows his work in various WAL exhibitions.
Rob Mandell has developed a passion for creating unique and imaginative digital and photographic artwork. Rob is influenced by the prismatic refraction of light through objects and enjoys taking ordinary objects and turning them in to interesting pieces of art. Rob is the current president of the Westerville Art League and his artwork can be found in several locations around town and will be the featured artist at Java Central for March and April .

Heart of Ohio Tole, Inc. (HOOT) is a non-profit charitable organization whose purpose is to promote and educate people about decorative painting. At our 39th HOOT Convention in July 2019 there will be painting classes, art show and vendor's exhibit hall. HOOT provides memory boxes to area hospitals for infant bereavement programs and other philanthropic projects.

Megan Owdom-Weitz / Megan Lee Designs. After receiving a degree in Visual Communications Design from Kent State, Megan moved to Chicago and began working in the design field. In 2003, Megan began creating designs that tickled her fancy and made her smile. She took a screen-printing class and fell in love with printing her illustrations on clothing. Megan quit her day job in 2009 and hasn't looked back. After making the decision to grow her family to more than their beloved dachshund Heika, they made the big decision to move to Ohio in 2016 and now live in Westerville with their two children, Ivan and Zia. They still travel to Chicago frequently for shows and now have a Shop & Studio in Uptown Westerville.

Richard "Dick" Leavy is a member of the Central Ohio Watercolor Society and has exhibited his work at the 2017 COWS show in Columbus, the Inniswood Watercolor Show, Arts Alley at Westerville's 4th Fridays and the Westerville Public Library. Dick's work can be purchased at Ohio Art Market in Uptown Westerville. Dick's paintings range from landscape to architecture to even industrial scenes. What is most important to him in a good painting is the contrast between light and dark. The play of strong light on natural and man-made objects intrigues him.

Kellyn Donnelly is a local artist who has called Westerville home for over 20 years. She and her husband, Sean, have raised their three kids here. Kellyn has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Miami University and was an art director at agencies in Denver, Los Angeles, and Columbus before deciding to to stay home with their children. Most recently Kellyn has been creating art for a company she started in 2014 called Blessed Moments Studio. Alexandra Zecevic (former Kruglyak) Ukrainian born artist. Alexandra’s desire to paint was evident from an early childhood where despite lack of resources and training, she showed tremendous talent in her early expressions. As the time went by Alexandra took her hobby more seriously and for two years received lessons under the tuition of Lasar Shteermer, an honorary jury member of the coveted Russian Art Society. In 1988, she attended the University of Kiev, where for half a year she studied the advanced art of drawing, and the basics of commercial composition and design. This passion for colour and texture eventually landed her a place on a prestigious course of Fine Art and Design at the Belarus State University. While there, she studied under Alexander Sorokin & Ivan Lisicza both highly commended and recognised artists in the Soviet Union. In 1995 she graduated with a Master’s Degree and embarked on a life long career as a Freelance Artist & Designer.

Rosana Paulino Paraiso Tropical (Tropical Paradise) directly addresses the process of colonization and slavery in Brazil, to understand the legacies of colonialism and racial constructions in the present. It also challenges the discourse of domination that was normalized by scientific theories in the 19th century. The work also deals with the notion of Brazil as a paradise, but a paradise for whom? the country was seen - and continues to be seen by the national and international elites - as an immense warehouse where people, fauna, and flora are there to be exploited.

Jim Brundage loved tying tiny trout flies and wading cold clear trout streams armed with a light weight fly rod. Two small strokes and severe RA made that sport impossible. He turned to art after a 45 year gap. He is self taught in acrylics using bold strokes and a pallet knife due to RA. He really enjoyed bold colors and fairly abstract art. He has had paintings at Java and the Westerville Community Center.
